Because the great Uzbek poet, prose writer, thinker, statesman, enlightener, educator of creative people, citizen caregiver, tireless fighter for the integrity, peace and tranquility of the country Nizamiddin Amir Alisher Navoi with his multifaceted activity in the history of the country and people, science, enlightenment, poetry and spirituality. is a unique figure with a special position.
Navoi studies of the XX century is determined by the breadth of its scope and the uniqueness of its path. This peculiarity is that in the 20s and 80s of the twentieth century, the Soviet policy had an impact on the study of the life and legacy of Alisher Navoi in Uzbekistan and the CIS countries. Nevertheless, the study of the life, activity, and legacy of Alisher Navoi, the celebration of his 500th (1948), 525th (1968), 550th (1991) anniversaries; his works (3 volumes in 1948, 15 volumes in 1968), their scientific-critical texts (“Majlis un- nafois”, “Lison ut-tayr”, “Hayrat ul-abror”, “Farhod and Shirin”, “Mezon ul- avzon ») publication, doctoral dissertation (A.Sadi, A, Hayitmetov, H.Sulaymon, A.Abdugafurov, S.Erkinov, N.Mallaev, M.Hakimov and others), defense of candidate’s dissertations, monographs and scientific articles on various topics continued to publish collections. During this period A.Fitrat, S.Ayniy, O.Sharafiddinov, V.Mahmudi, Oybek, Vohid Zohidov, Izzat Sultan, Vohid Abdullaev, Maqsud Shaykhzoda, Aziz Qayumov, Saida Narzullaeva, Suyima Ganieva, Yakubjon Ishakov (Uzbekistan), E.E. Bertels, S.N.Ivanov (Russia), H.Arasli, J.Naghieva (Azerbaijan), A.Mirzoev, R.Khodizoda (Tajikistan), B.Karriev (Turkmenistan). In addition, Navoi scholars have published works in Turkey (Ogoh Sirri Levend), Iran (Ali Asghar Hikmat, Rukniddin Humayun Farrukh), Afghanistan (Muhammad Yaqub Juzjani) and other countries, created various pamphlets and collections of articles. During this period, some work has been done in our country to immortalize the memory of Alisher Navoi. Theater (Tashkent), university, square (Samarkand), library (Tashkent), street, farms were named after him. A novel (Oybek “Navoi”), a drama (Uygun, Izzat Sultan “Alisher Navoi”), short stories (Mirkarim Osim) were written about him.
Alisher Navoi lived 62 years in the Hijri calendar and less than 60 years in the Gregorian calendar. But they have left so much scientific and artistic legacy in this short lifetime that it is a rare occurrence. The point is not in the number of works, but in the fact that each of them occupies a huge place in the history of Turkish and Persian literature. In particular, the unique places in the history of Turkish literature and science were recognized at that time.
