Integral lecture with a specialist from the United States

On October 23, 2017, the Tashkent Medical Academy organized an integrated lecture on “Global Health Security Issues” organized in cooperation with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The lecture was delivered by Professor Vikas Kapil, the chief physician and deputy director for science at the Center for Global Health of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

During the lecture Vikas Kapil presented the activities of the Center, outlined the main goals and objectives of the organization. The professor emphasized the high level of public health in Uzbekistan.

The American specialist also covered the modern approach to the prevention and prevention of such diseases as Ebola Virus, Malaria, Tuberculosis, AIDS and Zika Virus.

Within the framework of the lecture, the problems of clinical and practical disciplines were highlighted, the importance of the development of public health in the world and the need for comprehensive support of programs in the field of medicine were underlined.

This integral lecture allowed participants to get acquainted with international experience and practice of organizing health care and preventing various diseases.

The event was completed with words of gratitude and group photo participants.
