October 26, 2017 in Tashkent Medical Academy was organized a lecture on “Modern standards of surgical treatment of pancreatic-hepatobiliary cancer.”
The lecture was read by Professor Sanjay Negi, Director of the Center for Liver Transplantation at the BLK Super Specialty Hospital Medical Center, India.
For reference: Prof. Sanjay Negi – graduated from the University of Goa in 1994, further studied in surgical gastroenterology at the University of Delhi. From 2012 to the present, he is the chief consultant and Director of the Department of Hepatocellular Biliary Surgery and the Liver Transplant Center at BLK Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi. He is also an honorary professor of the European Union of Medical Professionals and a member of the American College of Surgeons.
During the lecture Professor Sanjay Negi highlighted the urgent problems of surgical treatment of pancreatic-hepatobiliary cancer and modern treatment standards, shared personal experience and pointed out important features when applying new techniques. Professor Sanjay Negi paid great attention to the role and significance of liver transplantation in these diseases.
