April 13, 2019 Tashkent city qualifying round of the Universiade-2019 in athletics was held at the stadium of the Athletics Federation of the Pakhtakor sports complex.
This competition was attended by students of 29 universities in the city of Tashkent. According to the results of the competition, students of the Tashkent Medical Academy Olimov Oybek won 1 gold, 1 silver; Akramova Zulaikho 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze; Yunusova Mavzoda won 1 gold and 1 bronze; Makhmudov Holmumin 1 bronze; Rakhimberdiyev Durdona – 1 silver and 1 bronze; Ibragimova Sevara won the 1st bronze medal, she took 3rd place in the team competition, losing to NUU and TashPMI.
Olimov Oybek, Akramova Zulaikho and Mavzoda Yunusova will take part in the final stage of the 2019 Universiade. The TМA leadership wishes good luck and victory to the participants.
