On April 12-13, 2019, the International Otorhinolaryngologist Forum was held at the AKFA MEDLINE Clinic in Tashkent. The forum is organized by the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Tashkent Medical Academy and the Association of Doctors of Uzbekistan.
The main objective of the International Forum of Otorhinolaryngology in Tashkent is to present the latest research and development results in the field of otorhinolaryngology, identify trends and prospects for research and outline their results, expand the range of information and strengthen cooperation between various international scientific and medical institutions.
The conference was attended by leading scientists and specialists of Uzbekistan, as well as leaders of the Association of the International Otorhinolaryngology Association. Leading scientists and specialists from Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan. In addition, leading scientists and practitioners who successfully introduce new methods of medicine in other regions of the country are invited.
Scientific areas of the conference were: information technologies in medicine, diagnostics and therapy, methods of modern objective diagnostics and treatment of ENT diseases, tools, materials and innovations in otolaryngology, methods of high-tech surgical rehabilitation of patients with hearing impairments and diseases of the upper respiratory tract. The conference discussed the standards and protocols for the treatment and diagnosis of diseases of the upper respiratory tract, as well as modern physical and pharmacological agents used in their treatment. An exhibition of drugs and medical equipment was organized at the forum.
For the first time in Uzbekistan, an agreement on cooperation between associations of Central Asia and Turkey and Azerbaijan was signed. Development of international cooperation to improve the skills of specialists, development of training and retraining of personnel in leading clinics of the countries of near and far abroad, memorandums of cooperation and education have been signed.
