February 1 this year The ceremony of launching a project to promote medical care using a mobile KT unit and a practical test of remote visual diagnostics was held at the Tashkent Medical Academy. At this event, Counselor of the Embassy Toda Shinsuke attended and delivered a welcoming speech.
Within the framework of this project, with the assistance of the JAPAN Brand Development Support Project of the Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises in Uzbekistan, a practical test of a mobile KT unit equipped with Japanese-made medical equipment will be carried out, as well as support will be provided for training in computed tomography technologies and remote visual diagnostics.
In his speech, the adviser noted that the mobile KT unit can be used to provide state-of-the-art medical care and in the event of a natural disaster in rural areas and expected that Japanese technology would be fully applied within the framework of this project. He also expressed hope for the further development of bilateral relations through the implementation of this project this year, which is marked by the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Uzbekistan.
