Ensuring gender equality in various spheres of society is among the priorities of the domestic political concept of Uzbekistan. Today, important initiatives are being put forward to increase the place and position of women in the academic circles of the country, educate a new generation of scientists and stimulate their promising projects. Achieving the set goals and objectives requires a systematic approach to the issue of reforming the branch of science. In this regard, at the initiative of the staff of the Department “Obstetrics and Gynecology in family Medicine” A spiritual event was held at the Tashkent Medical Academy.
The staff of the department at the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, together with the Republican Committee on Family and Women, held a round table on the topic “An educated woman is the support of the nation.” The event was attended by employees of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Family Medicine Tashkent Medical Academy PhD Gulnoza Jurayeva and senior lecturer responsible for spiritual work, PhD Khurshida Shodieva, First Vice-Rector of Feruza Madrakhimova University, Committee of Family and Women on Science among Women, Head of the Innovation Development Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Karima Norkulova. The round table on the topic “An educated woman is the backbone of the nation” will be a huge factor for our young scientists in attracting women to science more widely. Summing up, our outstanding educator Abdullah Avlani did not accidentally say: “girls should strive for knowledge more than anyone else, because with this knowledge they educate the next generation.” The level of progress and civilization in any developed society is determined by the attitude towards women, the scale, as well as the opportunities created for women.
