On March 15-16, 2023, the first off-line conference of the participants of the BERNICA project within the framework of Erasmus + was held in Almaty. The conference was attended by 9 higher medical educational institutions: FH JOANNEUM University (Austria), Kazakh National Medical University named after S. Asfendiyarov and Karaganda Medical University (Kazakhstan), Istanbul MEDIPOL University (Turkey), Tashkent Medical Academy and Bukhara State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan), International Medical School and Osh State University (Kyrgyzstan), Tajikistan State Medical University and Khatlon State Medical University (Tajikistan).
At the conference, participants-representatives of the above medical universities presented presentations and videos about their educational institutions. In addition to presenting information about the Tashkent Medical Academy (R.K. Dadabaeva), a detailed plan for dissemination and communication of the BERNICA project was presented (O.F. Eshmamatov). The International Medical School, represented by the coordinator of the BERNICA project, K. Dzhusupov, presented a detailed project plan, goals and ways of accomplishing tasks for the entire period. The 2-day conference was very constructive and informative.
