As we previously reported, the delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan is Sweden.
During the visit, a meeting was held with the management of the world-famous “ELEKTA” company. The “Elekta” company produces the world-famous “GAMMA knives”, which are used in the surgical practice of this medicine to remove tumors located in the deep part of the body. During the meeting, they got acquainted with the activities of the “Gamma knife” manufacturing plant and agreed to cooperate in this regard. They also took part in a seminar-training on the safety of these knives, their effective use in oncology and radiology.
