The assistant of the Department of Infectious and Pediatric Infectious Diseases Mirkhoshimov Mirbobur Botirovich informed the students about measles-mumps-rubella. Measles is a viral disease that manifests itself with a rash, signs of intoxication and a moderate increase in lymph nodes. There are several forms of the disease:
– Acquired – accompanied by typical symptoms and can be mild, moderately severe.
– Atypical – occurs in 50% of cases and can be absent or asymptomatic. In the first case, a short-term increase in temperature and an increase in lymph nodes without a rash are observed. In the asymptomatic form of the disease, infection can only be detected using serological blood tests.
