Today, Tamer Hammad, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Tashkent Medical Academy. During the visit, the guest familiarized himself with the academy’s educational process, scientific research activities, and international cooperation projects.
As part of the meeting, a roundtable discussion was held with the leadership of the Tashkent Medical Academy and students from the Arab Republic of Egypt, where the prospects for mutual cooperation in the field of medicine were discussed. Specifically, proposals were made for exchanging experiences and implementing joint programs in the areas of medical education and scientific research between Egypt and Uzbekistan.
The Egyptian Ambassador highly praised the achievements of Uzbekistan in the development of the medical sector and commended the potential and knowledge level of the students at the Tashkent Medical Academy. He also emphasized the special role of the academy in strengthening the educational and scientific ties between the two countries.
At the end of the visit, both sides agreed to explore the possibility of signing a memorandum to further develop cooperation. The Ambassador expressed confidence that this visit would elevate the relations between the academy and Egypt’s leading scientific-medical institutions to a new level.
