It has been two years since the launch of the “Green Space” nationwide movement in our country. During this period, more than 1,200 hectares of lush gardens and recreation parks, as well as over 1 million hectares of green space along streets and pathways, have been established.
Thanks to the initiative of our President, planting saplings and expanding green spaces have become a major movement. For this reason, the staff of the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Professional Development, together with students, planted 50 saplings on the territory of the Tashkent Medical Academy clinic as part of the implementation of the “Green Space” nationwide project and environmental protection efforts.
It is worth noting that the tradition of planting trees is more relevant today than ever. Many events held in our country with the participation of international organizations and foreign delegations traditionally conclude with the planting of saplings, which directly contributes to raising the ecological culture of the population.
