In accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 23, 2025, Shukhrat Abdujalilovich Boymuradov was appointed to the position of rector of Tashkent State Medical University.
This appointment was officially announced on April 23, 2025 at a meeting held at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of industry representatives. The Minister of Health met with the heads of higher medical educational institutions participating in the meeting and provided detailed information about the appointment and the goals set forth in the Presidential Resolution.
In accordance with the Presidential Resolution, Tashkent State Medical University was established. The new university is a modern educational institution specializing in the training of medical personnel, advanced training, and improving scientific and research activities.
The university operates by uniting three higher medical educational institutions. It will create an educational environment that meets international requirements, a modern material and technical base, an advanced management system, a transformation office, and a national center for international accreditation.
It is also planned to attract international specialists, radically update the system of spiritual and educational work, strengthen material and technical support, and introduce mechanisms for assessing the quality of education. The heads of the university management system have been updated.
