On July 29, 2025, during a Tashkent–Delhi flight, when a passenger’s condition suddenly worsened, Mohamed Anees, an Indian student studying at the International Faculty of Tashkent State Medical University, promptly provided first aid and helped save the passenger’s life.
“During the flight, the crew made an announcement asking, ‘If there is a doctor or medical personnel on board, please come forward.’ I introduced myself and said I could assist. The patient — a 48-year-old woman — was very anxious and had a rapid heartbeat. Upon examination, I diagnosed a tachycardia episode and immediately began performing carotid massage. Within 10–15 seconds, her condition began to improve. After the plane landed in Delhi, we handed the patient over to medical staff,”
— recounted Mohamed Anees.
