Tashkent State Medical University hosted a conference on digitalization and AI in higher medical education.

Today, an educational and methodological conference entitled “Promising Areas, Achievements, and Prospects of Using Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in the Development of Higher Medical Education” was held at Tashkent State Medical University.

The event was attended by the Rector of Tashkent State Medical University, Professor Shukhrat Boymuradov; Director of the Center for the Development of Digital Education Technologies under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Alisher Abdullayev; First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of New Uzbekistan University, Bahodir Ahmedov; Rector of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Bakhtiyor Makhkamov; as well as heads of higher education institutions, faculty members, and sector experts.

Within the framework of the conference, separate sectional meetings were organized in the fields of therapeutic sciences, surgical sciences, dentistry, pediatrics, medical prevention and public health, management and fundamental sciences, social and humanities disciplines, and professional education institutions. During these sessions, issues related to the implementation of digitalization and artificial intelligence technologies in higher medical education were discussed.

At the conclusion of the conference, prospective plans were outlined to accelerate the digital transformation of medical education, expand the implementation of AI-based educational solutions, and further improve the teaching and methodological process.
