November 4, 2017 in the Tashkent Medical Academy was a lecture by the Secretary General of the Association of Urologists of Spain, the head of the Department of Urology of the University of Barcelona, Professor Antonio Alcaraz on the topic “Urgent issues of urology and why it is necessary to choose a specialty of a urologist”.
At the beginning of the event opening speech was delivered by Head of the Department of Urology Professor TMA F.A.Akilov thanking for Professor Antonio Alkaraz for the third visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to promote education and scientific potential of our country and gave the floor to the guest.
Professor Antonio Alkaraz began his lecture with the current problems of urology and spoke about modern methods of solving these problems, and also handed over his 25-year clinical and scientific experience in the field of minimally invasive surgical methods for the treatment of urological diseases and kidney transplantation.
Within the framework of the lecture Antonio Alkaraz spoke about the prospects of laparoscopic methods of treatment and the use of robotic techniques in operations on the urethra.
Also, the professor noted the importance of choosing the right profession, gave recommendations important for students in choosing a profession.
This lecture allowed the participants to get acquainted with the international modern approach in the treatment of urological patients.
The event was completed with words of gratitude and group photo participants.
