scientific and practical conference with international participation
Dear colleagues!
Tashkent Medical Academy invites you to take part in a scientific and practical conference with international participation on the topic:
“100 years of the Tashkent Medical Academy – the era of great achievements and discoveries”, which will be held on March, 2022.
Within the framework of the conference, work is planned in the following areas:
1. Actual problems and prospects of surgery development.
2. Innovations in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of noncommunicable diseases.
3. The role and importance of fundamental sciences in the system of medical
education.
4. Modern problems of preventive medicine.
On the issues of the conference, it is planned to publish an electronic collection of abstracts and articles in the Scientific and Practical journal “Bulletin of the Tashkent Medical Academy”(free). The content of the collection will be formed in accordance with the topics of the sections.
Official languages of the conference: Uzbek, Russian, English.
The forms of participation in the conference are full–time (presentation) and
correspondence (publication of abstracts and articles).
Materials for participation in the conference are accepted until March 5, 2022.

Abstracts should be prepared in accordance with the following requirements:
The text must be typed in Microsoft Word 2007 text editor, Times New Roman
font, font size 12, intermediate interval – 1.0, all margins on each side 2 cm, volume
no more than 1 page. The text of theses should not contain illustrations, diagrams,
tables, graphs and a literature index.
Placing text on a sheet
1st line – title of theses (in capital letters)
2nd line – Full name of the author
3rd line – the name of the institution where the work was performed, city, country
4th line is the text of the thesis.

Requirements for the design of articl:
1. The text of articles should be typed in A4 format, Times New Roman, 12 pt
font, 1 interval apart, all margins on each side 2 cm, alignment of the main text of
the article – in width; in Uzbek, Russian or English.
2. The volume of original articles, including tables, figures, literature and
summaries, should not exceed 5-8 pages.
3. The output data indicates: the title of the work; the authors’ surnames and
initials (put initials in the article and the list of references after the surname); the
name of the institution in which the work was performed; the city.
4. The article should be carefully verified and constructed with the allocation of
the following headings: relevance, purpose of the study, materials and methods,
results and discussion, conclusions. The presentation of the article should be clear,
without long historical introductions. Abbreviations of words, terms, and names
(other than generally accepted ones) are not allowed.
5. A list of cited literature should be attached to the article, which is drawn up as
follows:
The sources are listed in alphabetical order (no more than 10) with the names of the authors and initials, first domestic, then foreign. The names of books, journal articles, place of publication, publisher, year of publication, volumes and issue numbers, pages “from” and “to” are fully indicated. The works of domestic authors published in foreign languages are placed among the works of foreign authors in
the general alphabetical order, and the works of foreign authors published in Russian are placed among the works of domestic authors in the general alphabetical order. All sources should be numbered, and their numbering should strictly correspond to the numbering in the text of the article.
The original article should be accompanied by: UDC (serial number of the
article), summary in Russian, English (summary of the article) up to 1/2 page on a
computer with the names of all the authors of the article and its title, as well as
keywords (at least 5-6 words), contact details of one of the authors.
From one author, no more than 2 publications written in monoauthorship or coauthorship are accepted for consideration.
Deadline for submission of abstracts and articles: March 5, 2022.

When sending abstracts by e-mail, they are sent as an attached file, in the “Topic” column specify “Conference Abstracts” the attached file has the surname of the first author in the title, for example: “nasimov.doc “ (in case of submission of 2 theses: “nasimov1.doc “, “nasimov2.doc “)
Abstracts are accepted if there is a completed registration card (Appendix 1),
which is also sent to our email address along with the abstracts (on the second page)
We ask you to inform the organizing committee about your arrival and
participation in the conference (presentation) no later than March 5, 2022
Abstracts that do not meet the requirements are not considered.
