Activities of the Council of Young Scientists

In the Tashkent Medical Academy, the Council of Young Scientists, based on the priority directions of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Fundamentals of the State Youth Policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan” dated November 20, 1991, and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan to enforce the order “On Establishment of the Council of Young Scientists in the Higher Education System” of May 14, 1999, to systematically guide young people to scientific research, as well as the formation of new academic schools, support young professionals in their professional and socially-meaningful scientific activities, assist in the development of their fundamental, applied and innovative researches, further improve the system of protection of senior researchers, independent researchers and young scientists. organized for.

The Council of Young Scientists has been established to develop and support the academic activities of students and masters. The Council operates directly under the TTA Scientific Department. It combines the young scientists’ councils at faculties. Each department has a staff responsible for the activity of the Council, which includes the dissemination of information on the activities of the Council, and involvement of students from all faculties and courses. It also teaches young scientists to acquire the necessary skills, such as research topics, subject selection, data collection, analysis, statistical processing, and publication of theses and articles based on research findings. Among the tasks of the Council are the accumulation of young scientists who are willing to develop in the scientific field and create favorable conditions for them. At present, the Scientific Council of the TMA conducts the following activities: the Days of Young Scientists, which have been held for many years, allow young talents to present their most up-to-date and interesting research works to the wide audience. It is worth noting that the Topical issues in medicine, which has become a tradition in the last four years, has become more and more popular every year, not only by the TTA Master’s students, but also by bachelor students and by other health care providers. Over 20 lectures and master classes were organized by the TTA in the academic year.
