\u0422he professor Poddubnov Igor Vitalyevich, the head of the department of pediatric surgery at Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov(Russia) at the Department of General and Pediatric Surgery of Tashkent Medical Academy(Uzbekistan) from 17.04.2019 to 20.04.2019.<\/p>\n

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan \u21163775 from June 5, 2018 “On additional measures to improve the quality of education in higher educational institutions and ensure their active participation in the ongoing large-scale reforms in the country”, professor Poddubnov Igor Vitalyevich, the head of the department of pediatric surgery at Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov was invited in Department of General and Pediatric Surgery of the Tashkent Medical Academy to deliver a series of lectures and master-classes on the modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of congenital diseases of the large intestine for undergraduate students, clinical interns and cadets and doctors.
\n18 April 2019, Thursday. A meeting of prof. Poddubnov I.V. with professors, teaching staff and students of the department of general and pediatric surgery of Tashkent Medical Academy. After getting acquainted with the work of the department and the staff, a round table was held with the doctors of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Minimally Invasive and Endovisual Surgery of Children(RSPCMESC) on the topic of \u201c Modern diagnostics and treatment of congenital pathologies of the large intestine \u201d.<\/p>\n

During the round table, the professor presented modern approaches and possibilities of diagnostics and treatment of congenital diseases of the large intestine such as Hirschsprung’s disease, dolichosigmoid and ulcerative colitis.
\nAfter visiting the department in the evening was organized a walk around Tashkent.
\nApril 19, 2019, Friday. A master class was held at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Minimally Invasive and Endovisual Surgery of Children’s Age: 1. Laparoscopic correction of Hirshprung disease and 2. Laparoscopic correction of dolichosigmoma, online broadcast in the lecture hall. The master class was attended by members of the department “General and Pediatric Surgery” TMA and RSPCMESC, as well as students, clinical interns and cadets.<\/p>\n

In the lecture hall of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center by Minimally Invasive and Endovisual Surgery of Children’s Age, professor Igor V. Poddubnov delivered two lectures for first-year of the medical faculty, graduate students and clinical residents, as well as the professors and teaching staff of the General and Pediatric faculty of TMA. <\/p>\n

The first lecture was devoted to “The possibilities of video-laparoscopic and thoracoscopic operations in children”. After the lecture, the most topical issues on laparoscopy and thoracoscopy were discussed with the professors and associate professors, cadets and students, the professor shared his experience of managing such patients, advanced methods and results of application in the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov.<\/p>\n

The second lecture on the topic: \u201cModern diagnostics and treatment of congenital diseases of the large intestine\u201d also aroused interest among the audience. After the lecture, a lot of questions were asked, both from the lecturers and the students as well as cadets.<\/p>\n

After the seminar, the professor was given a tour of the city of Tashkent.
\nApril 20, 2019, Saturday. The professor delivered lectures on the topics of “Modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux and atresia of \u201cani et recti\u201d in children” and “Modern diagnosis and treatment of congenital diaphragmatic hernia in children\u201d for students of 1 and 5 courses, the faculty staff of the Department of General and Pediatric Surgery of TMA and the staff of RSPCMESC. <\/p>\n

April 20, 2019, Saturday. Departure of the professor I.V.Poddubniy by \u2116HY-601 flight to Moscow.<\/p>\n

Results of the visit:
\n1. Consent was obtained to conduct joint methodical work with the Department of Pediatric Surgery at the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov (Russia). We agreed to publish joint teaching materials.
\n2. Discussed scientific cooperation and the implementation of joint research papers on dissertations in the form of peer review, presentations by the proponent, etc. <\/p>\n
