<\/p>\n On May 25, 2019 a sports festival with the participation of students, professors and teachers under the slogan \u201cWe are children of a healthy country was held at the sports complex \u201cShifokor\u201d of the Tashkent Medical Academy\u201d.
\nA marathon was held with the participation of students, professors and teachers Under the slogan “” We are the children of a healthy country “. The event was attended by prominent experts from various public organizations, the media, and responsible officials of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education. It should be noted that every year in April-May TMA traditionally holds such sporting events. The event was opened by the rector of Tashkent Medical Academy, Professor Tuychiev Laziz Nadirovich. In his speech, he emphasized that in our society, extensive work was carried out on the formation of a healthy lifestyle, conditions for the younger generation that meet modern requirements were created for regular physical education and mass sports, conditions for strengthening young people’s confidence in their will, strength and abilities through sports competitions, formation of courage and patriotism, devotion to the Motherland, systematic selection of talented athletes among young people, and further developed I. e. physical culture and mass sports were done.<\/p>\n

At the same time, there are important tasks to promote mass sports in all regions of the country, protect young people from bad habits, create the necessary conditions for the realization of their abilities and talent, select the most talented athletes among them, and improve the target system of their training.
\nIn order to solve problems of this area, on June 3, 2017, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev adopted the Decree \u201cOn measures for the further development of physical culture and mass sports\u201d.
\nIn addition, the adoption of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan \u201cOn measures to support prevention, healthy lifestyle and non-communicable diseases, improve physical activity of the population\u201d is important for shaping a healthy lifestyle among the population.
\nAs you know, the head of our state has put forward five important initiatives to organize social, spiritual and educational work of the new system, 2 of which are the physical hardening of young people, creating the necessary conditions for the manifestation of their abilities in sports.
\nOn the holiday in order to practically apply these initiatives:
\n– students of art sections demonstrated their talents by their songs, dances, artistic performances;<\/p>\n

– a book fair was organized to raise the spirituality of the youth via reading;
\n– The teaching staff and student teams took part in the sports festival of TMA, where they held sports competitions in shaping, table tennis, volleyball, short and long distance running, chess and so on. The winners: teams, teachers and students were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.<\/p>\n
