The UI GreenMetric ranking is assessed based on the following key criteria:<\/p>\n

  1. Campus Sustainability (Setting and Infrastructure)<\/strong> \u2013 The environmental compatibility of the campus and the proportion of green areas.<\/li>\n
  2. Energy and Climate Change<\/strong> \u2013 Efforts to optimize energy consumption, use renewable energy sources, and reduce the carbon footprint.<\/li>\n
  3. Waste Management<\/strong> \u2013 Measures for recycling waste, managing hazardous waste, and reducing overall waste.<\/li>\n
  4. Water Management<\/strong> \u2013 Optimization of water usage and water recycling systems.<\/li>\n
  5. Transportation System<\/strong> \u2013 Sustainable transport options, reducing car usage, and promoting environmentally friendly modes of transportation.<\/li>\n
  6. Education and Research<\/strong> \u2013 The share of educational programs and scientific research related to sustainability.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
