Professor of the University of Kentucky (USA) Raymond Hill teaches<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>in the Tashkent Medical Academy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In pursuance of the tasks of attracting leading specialists from foreign universities in the educational process of national universities, professor of Public health school of the University of Kentucky Raymond Hill will be teaching in the Tashkent Medical Academy from September to November of this academic year.
\nThis visit was organized within the framework of the execution of assignments approved in the \u00a0Decree \u2116DP 3775 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from June 5, 2018, \u00abOn Additional Measures to Improve the Quality of Education in Higher Educational Institutions and Ensure Their Active Participation in Large-Scale Reforms in the Country\u00bb and to \u00a0improve \u00a0the quality of education in the field of organization of public health in accordance with the\u00a0\u00a0 international standards.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Starting from September 19, 2018, Professor R. Hill is actively involved in the educational process of the School of Public Health of the TMA.
\nDuring the stay, the American specialist will conduct a whole series of training sessions on health management, integrated trainings, master-classes, and round tables discussions with the participation of the faculty members of the Academy.
\nThis visit was carried out under the Fulbright program (USA). The work on attracting the American professor and organizing a joint educational program was conducted\u00a0 \u00a0with the support of \u00a0the \u00a0\u00a0TMA \u00a0\u00a0directorship \u00a0and the \u00a0\u00a0assistance \u00a0of \u00a0the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent.<\/p>\n

\u00a0For reference<\/u><\/strong>: Fulbright is a program of educational grants that provides international educational exchanges for students, scientists, teachers, and specialists. On a competitive basis, it grants to both American and foreign students, scientists and researchers. Stimulates “cross-country” education, in particular American students abroad, and foreign ones – in the United States. The program is one of the most prestigious award programs in the world; it operates in more than 155 countries.
\n<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The visit of Professor R. Hill contributes to the improvement of the quality of medical education in the sphere of public health, familiarizing students with modern international scientific and practical achievements in the field of healthcare organization, the exchange of experience and the strengthening of cooperation between medical teachers.<\/p>\n

The work on attracting leading foreign specialists and organizing joint educational events in the TMA continues.<\/p>\n
