Dr. Parthasarathi Ganguly professor of Hyderabad Indian Institute of Public Health from HEALTHCAP project of Center for Development Research (ZEF) of Bonn University,in October 26-27 delivered an integral lecture to master students on the theme “Principles of surveillance and monitoring of diseases and its role in human health – learning from India”. The integral lecture was delivered both for 14 master students of Public Health, Organization and Management of Public Health and Nursing specialties
Within the lecture master students were acquainted with the organization of Indian Institute of Public Health.
He mentioned about tasks and aim of personnel preparation. He explained connection and difference between epidemiological surveillance and monitoring. As a Role play lesson he offered surveillance of some diseases and checked it.
