Within framework of the development of international cooperation of Tashkent Medical Academy with foreign medical institutions and wide involvement of leading foreign medical specialists in educational process of TMA, on July 28 took place visit of delegation from “Bundang Jesaeng” Medical Center to TMA.
Reference: Medical Center “Bundang Jesaeng ” is one of the leading medical institutions in Suwon, Korea Republic. Medical staff consists of 218 employees, in total there are 623 medical beds in the clinic. Hospital consists of 26 branches and 13 centers. The clinic is equipped with advanced high-tech medical equipment (MRI, PET-CT, 3D angiography, CT and others). The most developed area of the center is urology and neurosurgery.
During visit were discussed on topical issues of expanding and implementing bilateral cooperation in field of training of TMA staff and attracting leading specialists and professors from the Medical Center “Bundang Jesaeng ” to the theoretical and practical training processes of TMA.
The results of the meeting were signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between Tashkent Medical Academy and Medical Center “Bundang Jesaeng”.
Within framework of visit, organized meeting with Department of Urology TMA. There was lecture for master students and pedagogical staff of department on the topic: “Modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.”.
Further, together with specialists of Urology Department and participation of TMA master students, leading urologists of Medical Center “Bundang Jesaeng ” conducted demonstrative urological operations, which became a master class on laser enucleation of the prostate adenoma (HoLEP).
This visit organized with support of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, facilitated to exchange of practical experience in field of use of modern methods in urology, and also allowed to master students and teachers of TMA to familiarize themselves with the best foreign practice of diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases.
Work on attracting leading foreign medical specialists into educational process of TMA continues.
