On November 4, 2020, the rector of TMA A.K. Shadmanov met with graduates of the Faculty of Medicine. The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector of TMA for Science and Innovation Work F.L. Azizova, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine F.I. Salomova, Deputy Dean G.F. Sherkuzieva, heads and professors of specialized departments of the medical-preventive faculty Shaikhova G.I., Mirtazaev O.M., Matnazarova G.S. Ermatov N.Zh., 5th year students of the medical-preventive faculty and others.
In his opening remarks, the Rector of TMA A.K. Shadmanov spoke about the epidemiological situation in the world, including in our country, in connection with the coronavirus infection (Covid-19) pandemic, emphasizing the responsible profession of the graduates of the Faculty of Medicine. The rector informed about the work carried out by the state to enrich the material and technical base of the healthcare system, to protect and improve the health of the population, as well as to combat coronavirus infection (Covid-19), and outlined the tasks for the graduates of the Faculty of Medicine.
TTA Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation F.L. Azizova in her speech, she spoke about the epidemiological situation in the country in connection with the coronavirus infection (Covid-19) pandemic, the high demand for hygienists and epidemiologists. She stressed that in order to successfully pass the final state attestation, students must start preparing today.
Heads and professors of specialized departments of the Faculty of Medicine and Prevention of TMA Shaikhova G.I., Mirtazaev O.M., Matnazarova G.S. Ermatov N.Zh. in their speeches, they noted that students of the medical-preventive faculty must possess the knowledge and skills of all specialized hygiene subjects (hygiene of children and adolescents, food hygiene, communal hygiene, occupational hygiene, epidemiology, radiation hygiene and microbiology). Then the students were informed that they can continue their studies in the magistracy in their chosen specialties.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of TMA F.I. Salomova introduced the students to the procedure and stages of the final state certification and emphasized the need for a responsible approach of students to this process.
