THE ACADEMIC YEAR BEGAN WITH THE OPENING OF A NEW ACADEMIC BUILDING

Tashkent Medical Academy is the main medical university of our country, which trains highly qualified specialists. Here, much attention is paid to increasing the potential of personnel, strengthening the practical skills of students, and the effective organization of the educational process.

As a practical expression of this, the recently reconstructed main academic building of the academy was put into operation today. The opening ceremony was attended by Odil Abdurakhmonov, Head of the Social Development Department of the Presidential Administration, Amrillo Inoyatov, Minister of Health, Shakhlo Turdikulova, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as well as heads of medical institutions, teachers and students.

As noted at the event, the basis of all the reforms carried out today by our President is the noble goal of improving the quality of personnel training. This can be seen in the activities of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

After the opening ceremony, guests got acquainted with the capabilities of the new building.

It should be said that in the commissioned new building there are 8 departments, 10 departments, administration and other household premises, and 3,000 students study there.

The institution has 148 classrooms, 10 smart lecture halls, a kindergarten for 60 seats, social areas for self-study for more than 500 students, a canteen for 520 seats.

In particular, the Simulation Center and 3 electron microscope laboratories are located on the first floor of the building. Equipped with the most modern laboratory equipment in Japan, undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to acquire practical skills in the simulation center.

The department is equipped with mannequins and simulators that simulate various clinical situations, and includes 10 classrooms for emergency medicine, intensive care, surgery, pediatrics, therapeutic specialties and traditional medicine.

Also on the second floor of the building is the Digital Medical Center. The Testing Center has a 200-seat virtual library and computer labs open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, where students can conduct exam tests and engage in self-study.

At the Department of Telemedicine or Distance Medicine, students are taught to work in the system of remote medical care, and at the electronic polyclinic and hospital – to register a patient through an electronic system, give consultations, and receive information. about your daily status and fill out the electronic card.

Also on the seventh floor of the building is the Center for Biomedical Technologies, where medical genetics, cell technologies, immunology, electron microscopy, pharmacotoxicology, environmental laboratory and scientific schools work.

The Technopark located on this floor and the digitized information and resource center on the 8th floor also provide students with ample opportunities for self-study and research.
