About activities of the department
Finance-planning department is a sub-structural unit of Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA). Responsibilities of the department include development of prospective and current plans, forecasting expenditures for supporting units of TMA, determining need for funding the institution from different sources (state budget, non-budget activities, incomes from scientific-research works and others). The department deals with the compilation of income and expenditure for all types of activities, analyzes the financial and economic activities of the university, participates in drafting of prospective projects and annual plans for admission of students. It monitors the correctness of assigning educational grants, participates in development of provisions on educational grants, internal regulations, the charter of the university, etc.
Main functions of the department:
-develops and controls staffing schedule;
– develops the forecast of incomes and expenses, prepares and controls budget of expenses and incomes;
– conducts comprehensive economic analysis of all activities of TMA;
– conducts statistical records on all economic indicators of work, prepares periodic reports in a timely manner and the systematizes statistical materials;
-development of regulatory framework for the remuneration of teaching, training and supporting staff, and administrative and management personnel for the new academic year;
-adjustment of the staffing schedule in compliance with changes in the regulatory framework
– accounting for sources of funding
– preparation of budgets for planned expenditures and incomes for budgetary and extra-budgetary funding;
– adjustment of the budget for expenditures and revenues after approval of the limits for the budget financing of TMA by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
-monitoring the allocation of funds for salary on budgetary and extrabudgetary financing by categories of employees and divisions;
-analysis of the budget expenditure and salary expenditure quarterly basis
– assigning salary for newly recruited employees
– auditing the staffing schedule of TMA
