On April 26, 2024, the delegation of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan met with the leadership of Sahlgrenska University in Gothenburg.
At the meeting, a presentation about the Tashkent Medical Academy was held, and agreements were reached on establishing mutual cooperation, publishing articles in scientific areas, including cooperation in the areas of oncology, neonatology, pediatrics, training of young scientists.
In the afternoon, the delegation of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan visited the Children’s Hospital named after Queen Silvia in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The hospital is designed for 1000 beds equipped with modern equipment. Negotiations were held with the management of the hospital on the establishment of cooperative relations, exchange of mutual experience. After the meeting, a seminar was organized and negotiations were held on cooperation in children’s oncology, children’s neonatology.
