In the framework of international cooperation of the Tashkent Medical Academy and the partnership of the Academy with foreign medical institutions and the largest universities of the world, daily work is carried out to attract leading professors, medical experts and scientists of foreign countries into the educational process of TMA.
In the context of organizing the educational process using distance technologies, in order to improve the quality of medical staff, training and familiarize of TMA faculty with current international achievements in the fight against coronavirus infection, in April of this year, TMA representatives took part in 35 different online lectures, video conferences, remote consultations and round-table discussions organized with the participation of leading foreign experts.
These events were organized by the Administration of TMA in accordance with an agreement with the leadership of partner universities and in the framework of international cooperation of TMA, as well as with the assistance of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the videoconferences, TMA representatives together with foreign experts:
– discussed current issues of treatment of patients with coronavirus infection;
– considered the most effective methods of organizing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19;
– exchanged experiences and adopted the best practices of organizing online training and conducting the educational process based on distance technologies;
– studied international achievements in providing university clinics and university specialists to provide medical care to patients with coronavirus infection.
Along with this, leading lecturers and scientists of foreign countries conducted online lectures aimed at developing the methods of medical education and raising the professional pedagogical level of teachers of medical disciplines.
Online learning is the reality and demand of the modern world.
TMA international cooperation today is aimed at applying the world achievements and modern experience of leading foreign universities of the world in improving the quality of the educational process of the academy based on distance technologies.
